The Langham has opened on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast, a metropolitan region south of Brisbane on Australia’s east coast, is known for its long sandy beaches, surfing spots and elaborate system of inland canals and waterways.

It’s also home to theme parks such as Dreamworld, Sea World and Wet’n’Wild.

Inland, hiking trails crisscross Lamington National Park’s mountain ridges and valleys, home to rare birds and rainforest.

The Langham, which has 339-rooms, is the central and tallest of the three Jewel towers between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach.

It is the first development with direct beachfront access to be built on the Gold Coast in more than 30 years.

The hotel is the newest addition to the Langham Hospitality Group’s Australian portfolio, joining the two luxury hotels in Sydney and Melbourne.
