CountryLink Elvis Parkes Festival Celebrates 20 Years

The Countrylink Parkes Elvis Festival opens today (Wednesday 11 January) for a five day Elvis extravaganza. The festival celebrates its twentieth birthday, and this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better with more than 15,000 people expected to attend.


The theme for 2012 is ‘Follow that Dream’ and the five day program of events will feature tribute artists and impersonators, displays of Elvis memorabilia, look alike contests, a Tribute to Elvis competition, the Elvis Gospel Church Service, and more than 150 unique Elvis-style events.
