New Partnership Agreement in London

ExCeL London, the UK capital’s largest event’s venue has struck two-year strategic partnership with Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), one of the world’s most prestigious meetings industry associations.

The agreement was finalised and signed last week at PCMA’s annual conference, Convening Leaders, in San Diego. The deal will see the development of a series of joint initiatives targeted towards the North American corporate and association meeting planning community.

“We are very excited by the opportunities this partnership presents, allowing us to strengthen our relationships with our North American customers and create forums where we work closer with buyers to bring their meetings to London,” said ExCeL London director, conferences and events, James Rees. “In our view, PCMA is the organisation best positioned to connect ExCeL London with this market and we know they share our vision andpassion for innovation and partnerships in the meetings industry.”

Commenting on the partnership, PCMA president and chief executive Deborah Sexton said: “As an association, we’re looking to grow our influence in the UK and Europe, so we’re delighted to be working with one of the most exciting and successful venues in these territories. ExCeL London also has some of the very best meetings technology around, something we’re particularly passionate about sharing with our members.”
