Empire State Building Opens For Business Events


The Empire State Building (ESB), which recently underwent a US$550 million renovation and modernisation programme to restore it to its former Art Deco grandeur, now offers exclusive spaces available for events.

For the first time, companies are now able to rent a number of spaces for corporate functions at the world-famous landmark. As the most unique and iconic venue in New York City, the world's most famous office building offers unmatched views of the city, as well as a world-class dedicated events team to assist in developing functions.

Highlights include hiring a full floor with 360˚ views of the Manhattan skyline for up to 300 delegates. This space has a loft-like layout and offers a blank canvas to organisers, who can transform it to meet their needs.

Meanwhile, cocktail receptions for 150-175 people, dinner for 70 and conferences for up to 150 can be held on the 80th floor of the Empire State Building, which offers impressive views of lower Manhattan amid a modern Art Deco-inspired setting.

There’s also a sustainable option on the 2nd floor, which can accommodate up to 500 delegates. Symbolising innovation and progress, this space showcases the building's ground-breaking retrofit, with a multimedia exhibit, ideal for energy efficiency or sustainability-related events. least 30 firms on board by April 2012.
