Holidays with Kids 25th anniversary issue out now

It's official! Holidays with Kids has been packing our readers' bags (figuratively, of course) and whisking them away on incredible family adventures for a whopping 25 years. More than just a number, this milestone is a celebration of the evolution of family travel.

Think back to 1999, when a holiday for an average Aussie family meant loading up the Commodore for a trip up or down the coast. Now, the sky is the limit, and that's in no small part due to our publisher and founder, Cathy Wagstaff, who recognised the need for more information and options for parents and kick-started a new era in family travel, showing parents what was possible through the pages of Holidays with Kids.

Cathy says, “We are so thrilled with this issue, and I am immensely proud of how passionate the whole team was in pulling it together. This issue has expanded by 48 pages, delivering 196 pages to our readers.”

To mark the occasion, this super-sized edition is celebrating how far we have come. Bursting with travel inspiration to ignite our readers' sense of wanderlust and spark more new adventures, we round up 25 epic experiences here in Australia as well as across the globe. Plus, we're sharing in-depth feature stories on Rockhampton, Gold Coast, Shoal Bay, Kiama, Tasmania, Margaret River, Fiji, Vietnam, Bali, Japan, America, Canada, and much more.

Of course, this celebration wouldn't be possible without our readers. As a thank you for entrusting us with their precious holiday moments for the past 25 years, we're sharing over $16,000 of exciting holidays and product giveaways.

“Our latest issue is more than a celebration of travel; it's a celebration of family and the countless special memories Holidays with Kids has helped create over the past quarter-century, as well as those that lie ahead,” says magazine editor Aleney de Winter.

The Holidays with Kids anniversary issue is on sale Australia-wide on Thursday 27 June 2024, directly mailed to subscribers and available in airline lounges, family-friendly hotels and resorts, and McDonald's restaurants.
