Hakone Shrine in Kanagawa Prefecture is a tranquil place of worship that is known for its giant red torii gate.

The shrine was founded in 1191 and is home to many festivals and events.

Set on the banks of Lake Ashi (aka Ashinoko), Kanagawa Prefecture and surrounded by a forest of Japanese cedar trees, it is a beautiful place to experience the spiritual side of Japan.
