First TED@DestinationCanada Talk Available on TED.com

On February 23, 2023, 14 of the brightest thinkers and biggest change makers in Canada took the stage at the TED Theater in New York City as a part of our TED@DestinationCanada partnership.

This project was designed to spark conversations and connections among changemakers, embracing tourism as a force for good.

The talks were recorded and the first talk by Kris Alexander is now available on TED.com. Kris Alexander is a video game wizard and professor of video game design from Toronto, Ontario. Kris believes in the power of video games to enhance online instruction and cater to different types of learning. He argues that there isn't a single job, trade, or discipline that doesn't connect in some way to the video game industry. Kris encourages viewers to open their minds and consider a different approach to education through video games.
