The Hotel Britomart

We're excited to let you know about our newest space, kingi Private, suitable for day meetings, events and private dinners.

An effective meeting is highly influenced by the space, its form and functionality. Within the space, lighting, amenities, layout, design and comfort all lead towards an effective and collaborative information exchange.

kingi Private offers a sophisticated, brick-lined meeting space that brings together the relaxed warmth of kingi and the refined elegance of The Libraries at The Hotel Britomart. An expansive raw-edge swamp kauri slab table sits beneath a shimmering fish-scale chandelier, while the glass-boxed 'larder kitchen' allows for interactive exchanges with chefs during breakout lunches.

Heavy linen drapes and cabinetry conceal audio-visual capability that allows the space to be used for high-end meetings and presentations.

The space, situated adjacent to The Courtyard on the ground floor of the heritage Buckland Masonic Building was designed by Cheshire Architects, who also designed kingi, The Libraries and The Hotel Britomart.

Creating bespoke events is our area of expertise, we would love to work with you to make this space yours whether it be a meeting, presentation, working lunch or celebration.
