A rare chance to hear the luxurious music of this bel canto masterpiece

After the success of Anna Bolena in 2019 and Maria Stuarda in Concert last year, Donizetti’s Tudor queens return to the Sydney Opera House with two concert performances of the rarely performed Roberto Devereux, opening in just 2 weeks.

Witness Italian Soprano Roberta Mantegna — who "was born to sing bel canto"— as Elisabetta and lavish in her vocal agility as she serenades you with beautiful melodic lines and powerful dramatic confrontations.

Be transported by rich melodies in this passionate tale of love, lust, and betrayal at the Tudor royal courts with the final instalment of Donizetti's Tudor trilogy. Thursday 16 & Saturday 18 March – two nights only.
