Cromer Top's The Norfolk Beaches Poll

Cromer Chamber of Commerce www.thisiscromer.co.uk recently launched a poll to encourage locals and visitors to get behind 'North Norfolk Beaches.' The most popular beach winning with 39% of the votes was Cromer. Mundesley took second place with 29% and Holkham came in third with 11% of the votes.

Martin Torrens marketing director at www.thisiscromer.co.uk said of the results “We are really pleased to see Cromer come in top, it really is a great destination and we are happy to discover we are not the only ones who think so, Cromer is clearly a favourite for locals and visitors alike.“

Thanks to everyone who supported the campaign and took the time to vote. Cromer's holiday season has kicked off to a great start with the Crab and Lobster Festival receiving bumper visitor numbers for a fifth year running.

The sun is shining and summer is finally here for all to enjoy. Those keen to hit the beach this summer should head to Cromer Pier, with a packed programme of shows for the season including the summer show which runs from June to September 2014.
