Cromer Top's The Norfolk Beaches Poll

Cromer Chamber of Commerce www.thisiscromer.co.uk recently launched a poll to encourage locals and visitors to get behind 'North Norfolk Beaches.' The most popular beach winning with 39% of the votes was Cromer. Mundesley took second place with 29% and Holkham came in third with 11% of the votes.

Martin Torrens marketing director at www.thisiscromer.co.uk said of the results “We are really pleased to see Cromer come in top, it really is a great destination and we are happy to discover we are not the only ones who think so, Cromer is clearly a favourite for locals and visitors alike.“

Thanks to everyone who supported the campaign and took the time to vote. Cromer's holiday season has kicked off to a great start with the Crab and Lobster Festival receiving bumper visitor numbers for a fifth year running.

The sun is shining and summer is finally here for all to enjoy. Those keen to hit the beach this summer should head to Cromer Pier, with a packed programme of shows for the season including the summer show which runs from June to September 2014. Join us for Carnival week during the third week of August, come anytime just to enjoy the beach or wait for an artistic inspired autumn break and visit at the end of October and into November during COAST art and literature festival.
