The plan focused on attracting tourists from these markets and strengthening Vietnam’s tourism competitiveness through preferential policies, streamlined entry procedures, and curated travel experiences. Economic growth targets have been set to ensure that Vietnam’s national economic growth rate in 2025 reached 8% or higher.
The program targeted welcoming 22–23 million international visitors and facilitating 120–130 million domestic trips. It emphasized collaboration among localities, tourism enterprises, and related industries to develop compelling tourism products for international travelers. Close coordination between ministries, agencies, and local authorities was also encouraged, ensuring the timely execution of Government directives and active participation from the aviation and tourism sectors.
The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism played a key role in launching the 2025 tourism stimulus program. Several major activities were outlined, including:
Promotional events showcasing Vietnam’s top destinations in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, aligned with the 2025 tourism stimulus program.
Vietnam Culture and Tourism Week in Poland and the Czech Republic to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
Comprehensive media campaigns to promote the tourism stimulus program, enhancing Vietnam’s visibility in target markets.
With these strategic initiatives, Vietnam aimed to position itself as a premier travel destination while boosting economic growth through a thriving tourism industry.
