The airline will operate four weekly flights to Da Nang on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The route will be serviced by the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, offering a two-class configuration with 35 seats in business class and 368 in economy. Emirates aims to provide seamless connectivity for travelers from major cities in Europe and the United States, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester, Milan, and Rome, as well as affluent markets in the Middle East.
The new route will enhance Vietnam’s position as a key international travel hub, facilitating greater access for global visitors to explore Da Nang’s stunning beaches, cultural landmarks, and vibrant city life. Emirates’ expansion aligns with the city’s ongoing efforts to boost tourism, as Da Nang continues to attract international travelers with its pristine coastline, historical sites, and growing luxury hospitality offerings.
Truong Thi Hong Hanh, director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, highlighted that the launch of Emirates flights would further elevate the city’s global visibility. Currently, Da Nang is connected to 16 international routes, handling an average of 50 to 60 flights per day. The addition of Emirates flights will create new opportunities for the city’s tourism industry, strengthening its appeal among high-end travelers from Europe and the Middle East.
