A Leap Above the Rest: BASE Jumping from the World’s Tallest Hotel

Dubai has once again redefined adventure, hosting a record-breaking BASE jumping event from the Burj Khalifa, home to the world’s tallest hotel. In an unprecedented display of skill and bravery, 31 elite BASE jumpers from across the globe took part in EXIT139, a two-day spectacle that saw 437 jumps completed from a specially engineered platform extending from the 139th floor of the iconic skyscraper.

A Sky-High Spectacle

Organised in collaboration with XDubai, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Skydive Dubai, and Emaar, EXIT139 was designed to push the limits of extreme sports. With participants representing 15 countries, the event was a testament to human ambition and the relentless pursuit of adventure. The 12-metre launch platform, engineered exclusively for the challenge, extended six metres beyond the balcony, giving jumpers an unparalleled vantage point to make their daring descent over Dubai’s futuristic skyline.
