The countdown is on for the 2025 Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash, Australia’s biggest Outback Music Festival, with nearly 90% of tickets already sold. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Mundi Mundi Plains, this highly anticipated event is expected to draw thousands of music lovers for three days of world-class performances and unique Outback experiences from August 21–23, 2025.
With a powerhouse lineup featuring Australian music legends, including Missy Higgins, Hoodoo Gurus, The Cat Empire, Birds of Tokyo, The Angels, Kasey Chambers, Kate Ceberano, and Leo Sayer, the festival continues to cement its place as a must-attend event on the national music calendar.
Festival owner and Managing Director of the Outback Music Festival Group, Greg Donovan, expressed his excitement about the event’s continued growth. “We’re incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of our dedicated festival-goers. The whole town has embraced us, and each year, festival-goers have more to experience in the region, with businesses organising special activities and promotions in town before and after the Bash. It’s wonderful to see all aspects of the event continue to grow.”
Beyond the incredible musical performances, the Mundi Mundi Bash offers a range of Outback activities that make it truly unique. Attendees can take part in world record attempts for the famous ‘Nutbush’ dance, a charity Mundi Undi fun run, Mad Max dress-up events, and Big Blue Day celebrations. Other activities include scenic helicopter flights, morning yoga, camel rides, outdoor film screenings, an animal petting zoo, and even dunny door painting—ensuring entertainment for music lovers of all ages.
Camping under the vast Outback sky is an integral part of the festival experience, with a fully equipped camping village welcoming festival-goers. The festival also prides itself on accessibility, with sealed roads leading up to the site and the final kilometres of unsealed roadway set to be upgraded by the NSW Government ahead of the event.
With demand at an all-time high and limited tickets remaining, those eager to be part of this iconic Outback festival are encouraged to secure their spot soon.
