Aurora Expeditions has been named the World's Leading Polar Expedition Operator 2023 at the World Travel Awards

Aurora Expeditions, the Australian-owned leading expedition travel company, has been named the World's Leading Polar Expedition Operator 2023 for the second consecutive year at the World Travel Awards.

Aurora Expeditions has been operating in the polar regions of Antarctica and the Arctic for more than three decades. 

Its purpose-built small expedition ships and dedicated Expedition Team takes passengers to some of the world’s wildest and most incredible places, as well as some of the most fragile. 

The Aurora Expeditions mission is to create unique, life-changing polar expeditions while also advancing its sustainability efforts and advocacy for the planet.” 

Aurora Expeditions has announced its Arctic & Beyond 2025 season, featuring including Greenland – whose east, south, west, and northwest coasts will be explored, Svalbard, Norway, Iceland and Canada’s High Arctic via the famed Northwest Passage. 

Aurora’s two purpose-built ships, Greg Mortimer and small expedition ship Sylvia Earle are designed for global discovery. 

The World Travel Awards are awarded annually to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries.
