The promo tickets apply to existing routes that connect Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), as well as routes originating from Vietnam to various destinations, such as India, Kazakhstan, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong (China), and Southeast Asia.
The Vietnam National Day sale perfectly coincides with the government's recent announcement to further ease the country’s entry restrictions to boost tourism. Effective immediately, citizens from all countries and territories will be eligible for multiple-entry e-visas, valid for 90 days. This marks a significant shift, as Vietnam only previously offered 30-day single-entry e-visas to citizens from 80 countries since reopening its borders in the wake of the pandemic.
In addition, just this August, Vietjet announced the launch of two new routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Jakarta (Indonesia) and Kochi (India). The airline has also increased the frequency of its Hanoi to Bangkok (Thailand) route. These expansions make it easier for travellers from Australia to explore Asian destinations at affordable prices onboard a modern fleet of aircraft. One of the perks of flying with Vietjet is their well-made culinary offerings, featuring hot meals made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. To ensure a worry-free journey, the airline also provides Sky Care travel insurance that offers comprehensive protection, from medical expenses to flight-related issues.
