The City of Orange and surrounding towns and villages all reflect a rich historical tapestry from the traditional Wiradjuri land owners, to the settlers, gold miners and commercial traders.

Discover Millthorpe with its grand verandas, cast iron lattice balustrades that shelter shopfronts. Traces of the past lives are still etched onto the glass windows of Carcoar, classified by the National Trust because of its large number of preserved 19th century buildings

With a rich history and the arts and a flourishing cultural scene, the region has become a major creative hub with impressive art facilities including museums, galleries, theatres, live music venues and the Orange Regional Conservatorium.
