The Cape Dara Resort is luxurious beach-side 5-star 26 storey-high resort in Pattaya. It features 264 modern and natural styled hotel rooms and suites that offer panoramic views of Pattaya’s scenic bay and islands.

When I stayed there recently my check-in was smooth in the attractive lobby leading out to the seating area by the pool. 
 

My spacious room offered me with wonderful views of the sea and provided a cozy sense of relaxation. I liked the welcoming touch of the duck on my bed. The balcony was a delight to sit on each evening. The free Wi-Fi gave me access to my family back at home.

The modern relaxed decor of the room was lovely with pastel colors highlighted by the blue splashes of colour. I enjoyed watching the LED TV and refreshed myself with the complimentary mini-bar, drinking water and tea/coffee tea making facilities. There was an electronic safety box that I made use of and a working desk.

The bed and seating were very comfortable in the airconditioned comfort of the room.

My en-suite bathroom had a separate bathtub and rainfall shower, nice range of Cape Dara bathroom toiletries, bathrobe and slippers.

As well as the beach, there are 2 outdoor pools to swim in at the Cape Dara Resort. There is also a well equipped fitness centre.

The Luminous Spa, located on the 4th floor, offers delicately developed treatments for guests utmost tranquil relaxation. The panoramic sea-view treatment rooms provide an extensive range of services including body massages, body scrubs and wraps, aromatherapy, facial treatments, beauty salon and steam & sauna rooms.

Cape Dara Resort - Radius Restaurant

The Radius restaurant on the Lobby Level offers panoramic sea view all-day dining. The all-day, open-air dining venue has a great view of Pattaya Bay and the coast. 

Each morning I sat here and took in the sea breeze enjoying the expansive international buffet for breakfast. The hot and cold dishes were delicious. I was pleased they even offered ice-cream as part of the buffet. The Radius restaurant also offered lunch and dinner buffets as well as full A la carte menus of Asian and European cuisines.

Cape Dara Resort - Mellow Bakery

The Mellow Bakery on the Lobby Level serves delicious breads and pastries from quiches to cookies to cakes fresh juices, plus  ice-cream and gourmet coffees, teas and hot chocolates in an easy-going atmosphere that fully befits the name.

There are two poolside bars at the Cape Dara Resort. The Twinkle Pool Bar on the Lobby Level offers food and drink under an umbrella’s shade from an a la carte menu.  Guests can take a break from swimming and sun bathing for refreshing ice-cold beverages including beer, cocktails, and smoothies.

The beachfront Walala Beach Bar is a swim-up poolside bar just steps away from Cape Dara’s private beach. Here guests can enjoy a colourful cocktail, refreshing juice or another of the beverage menu’s many choices. A la carte food menu available for a seaside lunch or early dinner.

The Ming Xing restaurant on the 3rd floor offers traditional Chinese Cuisine including dim sum brunches in a stylish setting. Sphere, on the Lobby Level, is a groundbreaking style lounge and Nitrogen bar with modern dazzling ambience.

Business and social events can be hosted a a number of adaptive venues at the Cape Dara Resort.

The large Vela Grand Ballroom on the second floor offers a sea view with the luxurious design of the impressive grand galaxy chandelier. this Ballroom is the ideal for the perfect venue for romantic weddings. RAIO, located on Lobby Level, is a loft that comes with high ceiling, wooden floor and opens up to a garden. Natee is an ideal space for a pre-function or a coffee break with a sea view.. The Dara Boardroom is a spacious and high ceiling boardroom with panoramic views overlooking Pattaya bay. The Executive Boardroom is perfect for private meeting with panoramic sea view.

Terminal 21 Pattaya

Cape Dara Resort is ideally located on the beach at the northern edge of Pattaya. It is 147 km and 2.10 hours from Bangkok by car, or just 118 km and 1.30 hours from Suvarnabhumi airport.

Complimentary transportation to nearby shopping malls is available upon request. I enjoyed my rides to the nearby huge Terminal 21 and Central Marina shopping mall.
