By entering through the 147-metre south entrance, you will be treated to an eye-opening sight. As sunlight pours in from the collapsed cave's ceiling, the waters turn into a majestic shade of turquoise blue and emerald green.
This beautiful scene inspired the name of the cave "Tensodo" — from the word "Tenso," which means "roof light window/skylight" in Japanese.
