Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mt Kosciuszko, the Snowy Mountains is renowned for outstanding alpine resorts, glorious scenic walks and adrenalin-pumping experiences including mountain biking, skiing, tobogganing and snowboarding. The region's diversity will be profiled across the three-and-half-hour show by TODAY co-hosts Karl and Lisa, accompanied by, Tim Gilbert, Ross Greenwood and Steve Jacobs.
NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events Stuart Ayres said the broadcast was secured by the NSW Government's tourism and major events agency Destination NSW to showcase the NSW Snowy Mountains as a must-visit destination.
“In the year ending March 2016, the Snowy Mountains welcomed more than 1.3 million overnight international, domestic and day-trip visitors, who spent more than $489 million in the region*. The Snowies delivers après-ski at its best, from cosy wine bars and fine dining to events for the whole family, and I encourage all Australians to tune in to Channel Nine on Monday morning from 5:30am to discover this spectacular and exciting part of NSW,” Mr Ayres said.

The region's rich history and great natural beauty make it an attractive destination all year round. We are delighted the TODAY show will highlight its attractions to viewers across Australia.”
