An art show featuring traditional dances and songs from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Viet Nam and Thailand closed in the central province of Quang Tri on July 25.
The event was jointly organised by the Department of Performing Arts, the Department of International Cooperation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Viet Nam Musicians Association, the Viet Nam Dancers Association, and Quang Tri provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The one-week-long festival drew the participation of 21 art troupes, including 17 domestic and four foreign ones.
Hundreds of dances and singings, reflected the unique, traditional, yet modern culture of each of the five nations.
At the closing ceremony, the art troupes were honoured with gold and silver medals, and certificates of merit for their outstanding performances.
Viewers enjoyed the prize-winning performances during the ceremony.
