The Milwaukee Tradie Challenge returns to the Deni Ute Muster for the ultimate “Tradie Tavern”

With a little over 2 months until the Deni Ute Muster kicks off their 18th birthday party, we are pleased to announce that the Milwaukee Tradie Challenge will be returning and applications are open now!

This year the Milwaukee Tradie Challenge is to build the ultimate ‘Tradie Tavern’ which will involve four teams battling it out to be crowned the ‘Milwaukee Tradies of the Year’. The Tradie Teams must consist of four individuals and must ensure that at least one team member is a competent, skilled individual/tradie that will oversee their team.

The Milwaukee Tradie Challenge will begin at 9.00am on Friday 30September and finish at 3.00pm that afternoon. This allows each team a total of 6 hours (excluding a lunch break) to complete the list of required elements.

Whilst the bar won’t be operational on the first day of the Muster, each “Tavern” must meet safety standards so they can be used on the Saturday. All materials and tools needed will be supplied by the Deni Ute Muster and Milwaukee.

To add further interest to the Challenge, teams will be invited to bring along two items of their choice to include in their design. One of these items must be bar signage and the other can be anything associated with their bar design.

The winning team will win a cash prize of $4,000 along with a trophy declaring them ‘Milwaukee Tradies of the Year’. Runner up teams will walk away with a Milwaukee prize pack. Judging will be based on design and workmanship.

To enter the Milwaukee Tradie Challenge head to www.deniutemuster.com.au (click the “Apply” tab) to download an entry form. Applicants are encouraged to include a short bio and full description of their “Tradie Tavern” build (videos not essential but preferred). All successful applicant’s videos will appear on the Deni Ute Muster’s Facebook page. Deni Ute Muster staff will review all entries and pick the top four teams alerting successful entrants by the end of August. Applications will be considered based on the team’s creativeness. Please note each entrant must hold a 2016 Deni Ute Muster ticket or plan to purchase one before the Muster.

The four successful teams will be provided with further information and details closer to the Challenge.

Applications close Monday 22nd August.
