COTRI China Outbound Tourism Research Institute to Host Twelfth Annual Chinese Tourist Welcome Awards

As companies and destinations around the world strive to develop services for the Chinese outbound market China Outbound Tourism Research Institute is set to host the 12th annual CTW Chinese Tourist Welcome Award to recognise those that have excelled as service providers in the industry.
COTRI is inviting all tourism organisations, destination marketing companies, tourism service providers and private companies globally from the leisure, tourism and hospitality sector as well as transportation and retail companies to apply with their products, services or projects for the CTW Chinese Tourist Welcome Award 2015.

The CTW Award will be bestowed in five categories: product innovation, internet and media, service quality, marketing, and overall performance. For each category a gold, silver and bronze CTW Award will be presented after an international jury, made up of Chinese and non-Chinese tourism experts, have evaluated the applications.

The CTW Award has been recognised since 2004 inside and outside of China as the most important quality sign for the Chinese outbound market and has wide coverage in print and online media. Having been initially held at the ITB in Berlin, the award, since 2007, has been presented during the main event for Chinese outbound tourism at the COTTM China Outbound Travel and Tourism Market in Beijing, as will the upcoming presentation on April 15th 2015.

It is free of charge to apply and applicants are asked to provide information about their products services and any planned projects relating to the Chinese source market as well as examples in the form of brochures, online information, press releases or other materials before March 31st, 2015.

As well as hosting the CTW Awards, COTRI, with offices in Hamburg, Germany and Beijing, China, is the world’s leading independent research institute for the Chinese outbound tourism market and organiser of the COTTM Conference, which is part of the COTTM fair.
