Established Designers featured at the QT Fashion Week & Awards

Established designers have featured in the QT Fashion Week & Awards on the Gold Coast held 29th May – 1st June 2014...

This year's signature event at QT Fashion Week & Awards was the QT Fashion Week Gala Runway Dinner. The black-tie event offered guests the opportunity to dine around the runway in the QT Ballroom.

“We are proud that TALULAH, Nicola Finetti and Shakuhachi established designers have showcased their 14/15 collections at QT Fashion Week Gala Runway Dinner. All three of these designers are masters in the field of design and to have them all showing in the one evening was simply amazing!” stated event organiser Michaela Fitzgerald.

TALULH not only showed their 'ready to wear' collection but also exhibited their swim/resort collection that was a new addition to the brand which launched last year. Nicola Finetti who has shown his support for the ever-growing event debuted his new Collection at the prestigious dinner. Shakuhachi was welcomed for a first time to showcase on the Gold Coast. Shakuhachi already has a cult following in the southern states with an iconic store on Chapel Street, Melbourne. The internationally stocked brand boasts silhouettes that are both functional and feminine. The recognizable but evolutionary aesthetic of Shakuhachi is now stronger than ever.

“At the QT Fashion Week Gala Runway Dinner the winners of the 'Best up and Coming Designer for 2014' were announced. The winners also featured their garments in a runway parade at the Gala Dinner, giving the designers priceless exposure and experience.” stated Michaela Fitzgerald.

Tickets for the QT Fashion Week Gala Runway dinner were $185 per person and included welcome beverages and canapés, three course dinner and beverage package.

A new edition to the schedule this year was the QT Fashion Day Out which was pop up stores, pamper lounges and runway shows.

“We were extremely excited that established designer Cameo the Label featured at our QT Fashion Day Out. Cameo the Label is stocked in over 2000 boutiques, department stores and online retailers such as David Jones, Planet Blue, The Iconic and The Fashion Bunker. It was an absolute privilege for us to have them showing at QT Fashion Week & Awards” stated Michaela Fitzgerald.
