Historic Bath Sets the Table for City’s Food festival

UNESCO World Heritage City Bath, in south-west England, will welcome some of Britain’s top chefs to its month-long food festival this October.

Running for the entire month, the festival will feature some of the most well-known names and talents in British gastronomy, including Bath-born Mary Berry, Angela Hartnett, Nathan Outlaw, Jenny Chandler, Raymond Blanc, Michael Caines and Sally Butcher.

The festival is now into its second year with a citywide collaboration of more than 70 businesses. Visitors can enjoy a series of taste trails and chef demonstrations, street food and supper clubs, wine tastings and tutorials, brewery visits and baking tips, plus a gathering of the nation’s top cheese makers, high-profile guest chefs, celebrity book signings and cookery schools.
