The China-Arab States Expo opened today in Yinchuan, capital of west China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Around one thousand companies and seven thousand representatives from both China and abroad are expected to take part in the event.
The expo, which will end on September 19, is designed to create a high-end platform, and specialised exhibitions for industries in agriculture, finance and energy.
With the theme of Global Oriented China-Arab States Cooperation, the expo also aims to establish and develop the opening-up and cooperative system for special industries.
The event has held three consecutive sessions and has become a significant platform for international economic and trade cooperation.
The China-Arab States Expo 2013 has five missions: innovate opening-up systems; establish and develop the opening-up and cooperative system for special industries; advance opening-up and cooperation in energy industry; improve the supporting capabilities for opening-up and construct a harmonious and stable society.
