Now in its 22nd year, the focus of the event is to connect the diverse markets that cater to the millions of young people who travel internationally to study, work and satisfy their thirst for travel adventure.
The event secured by Business Events Sydney provides a platform for businesses to share insight on the travel genre, pursue new partnerships via face-to-face meetings, and expand marketing and distribution channels on a global scale.
WYSTC is attended by decision makers from the world's most respected organizations in youth, student and educational travel, educational institutions, au pairs and language travel, accommodation, support services, regional, state and national tourism boards, as well as non-governmental bodies.
Destination NSW CEO, Sandra Chipchase, said, "It is an honour for Sydney to be hosting this year's WYSTC event, and a fantastic opportunity to showcase our State's diverse range of experiences and activities.
"New South Wales is an enticing destination for the young visitor. There is so much to see and do, catering to wide variety of tastes - whether it's action and adventure, our fabulous events and festivals, our unique beach lifestyle, alpine skiing, or an iconic red dust Outback experience - NSW is the natural choice for the young traveller."
A highlight to this year's program will be the launch of the New Horizons III research, a comprehensive study and the largest of its kind, looking at the motivations and unique travel characteristics of the global youth and student traveller.
As part of the conference, there will be booths and exhibits from leading travel brands, social and networking events, and a variety of seminars and workshops run by top authorities in the youth market, including Google, MTV, STA, Viator and ISIC.
