Emma Wins Thirroul Art Prize with Horse Portrait

Emma and her Winning Painting
The Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival held last week was highlighted by three major Art events

- Art Prize & Exhibition at the Thirroul Community Centre
- Photography Exhibition at the Thirroul Surf Club.
- Sculpture on the Shore on Thirroul Beach and Promenade

The exciting news is that our daughter Emma took out first prize for “Artists Under 25” with her painting of an eye of a horse. She was presented with her prize by the Lord Mayor of Wollongong, who is an old work colleague of mine in our previous occupations. However, I don’t think he would have worked out the connection.

You can see more of her art work on her website, Emma Llewelyn; Portrait and Fine Artist  at  www.emmallewelynart.com/. You can see examples of her art works on the website in these categories:-
