"The event provides a perfect opportunity to display
the best of our region including a Destination Showcase event to be held at
Noosa Main Beach on the Thursday morning. This new format for the program will
combine our rich diversity of local cuisine, artisans, products and
demonstrations to encapsulate the region's unique lifestyle. We have been
working hard with our local surf movement, Seasons of the Sun, Eumundi Markets
and Noosa Farmers Market to provide an unparalleled experience for delegates.
"Hosting this major tourism event is timely as the
destination starts its journey towards maturity," added Mr Cooper.
