The '100 Best Views in Australia' were determined by a panel of nine respected Australian photographers, including Ken Duncan (Australia's most renowned landscape photographer), Chris Bray (an award-winning Australian Geographic photographer), Grenville Turner, Gordon Undy, Nick Rains, Mark Gray, Nicholas Watt, Tim Bauer, and Peter Lik. They ranked over 1000 entries of the best views across the country from magazine readers, tourism operators and local and international travellers to create the definitive list.

CEO of Tourism Tasmania, Tony Mayell said that to have 15 Tasmanian locations recognised by Australian Traveller magazine on the '100 Best Views in Australia' list is a great result for the state.

"It's pleasing to see Tasmania receiving this level of recognition by such distinguished Australian photographers, and to also receive so many nominations from our visitors. I encourage all Australians to include these 15 Tasmanian locations on their must-visit list," he said.
