Craft Tunnel Udawalawe - A Unique Shopping Experience in the Heart of Sri Lanka's Wilderness

Craft Tunnel Udawalawe
Located at the entrance of Udawalawe National Park in Southern Sri Lanka, Craft Tunnel Udawalawe is a fascinating shopping destination that showcases the artistic talents of local craftsmen. It is also a themed restaurant. I was fortunate to visit here and enjoy lunch with my Southern MICE Expo 2024 group after going on an elephant safari in the Udawalawe National Park.

Craft Tunnel Udawalawe is an innovative initiative that combines conservation and commerce. The Craft Tunnel is a vibrant marketplace, featuring a range of stalls and shops selling handmade crafts, pottery, and souvenirs.

The products available at Craft Tunnel Udawalawe are a testament to the creativity and skill of local artisans. Visitors can find a diverse range of items, including:
1. Handmade jewelry
2. Intricately carved wooden items
3. Vibrant textiles and clothing
4. Colorful pottery and ceramics
5. Unique souvenirs and mementos
