Vialattea, an Italian-French ski resort in the Piedmont region, is among Europe’s largest ski resorts

It comprises the eight distinct locations of Sestriere; Sauze d’Oulx; Sansicario; Cesana; Claviere; Pragelato; Oulx and Montgenèvre. 

Vialattea caters to skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, with ample area for beginners, while also having a high number of red runs for intermediate skiers and expert skiers. 

Vialattea has hosted a number of winter sports events, including the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics. 

The resort’s nearest airport is Turin Caselle, but it is also well connected to Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Genoa City Airport, as well as being accessible by road and rail.
