W Brisbane has teamed up with River to Bay Moreton Bay Island Tours for a curated package that gives travellers an opportunity to experience the buzz of the city with the beauty of an island escape on their next Brisbane getaway.

Linking guests staying at the luxury lifestyle hotel in the heart of the Brisbane CBD to the natural wonders of Moreton Bay, the travel package includes two nights accommodation at W Brisbane and a half-day trip via boat across the beautiful waters of Moreton Bay.

Whether it's the thrill of an underwater adventure or unwinding with a glass of champagne and oysters– the River to Bay Experience package can be customized with an Adventure or Romance edition for a private luxury half-day tour that will tick all boxes for all kinds of travellers.

The day begins with a car transfer from W Brisbane to Northshore Hamilton, followed by a scenic 60-minute high-speed boat ride to Moreton Bay. Along the way travellers may encounter all sorts of sea life including dolphins, turtles, sting rays, and dugongs.

Those opting for a romantic day-trip will be taken on a Champagne and Oyster cruise at Stradbroke Island - renowned for their premium oysters that are prized for their freshness, flavour and texture. Upon arriving guests will be taken on a venture through an authentic oyster farm, learning from an experienced expert about how they are produced, and guided through the practice of oyster shucking. They will taste the sustainably-farmed oysters shucked straight from the ocean, all with a glass of champagne in hand.

Those with a penchant for exploration can instead take part in the Tangalooma Snorkel Adventure. Led by an expert guide they will discover a hidden underwater paradise snorkeling the Tangalooma Wrecks - home to over 200 species of fish, 130 species of coral and other native marine life. They will also learn about the wrecks, Moreton Island Moreton Bay, and their importance to the locals and the region.

Following, guests will indulge in a gourmet picnic lunch and champagne at St Helena Island. Curated by the award-winning culinary team at W Brisbane the spread will include a Moreton Bay Bug slider; Queensland prawns with cocktail sauce; California sushi roll; Charcuterie selection; Grilled vegetable, rocket, pesto and sunblush tomato wrap; and Free range chicken wrap with mixed leaves, avocado and bacon. Desserts will include homemade chocolate brownie with berries; tropical fruits and a selection of macarons.

To end the night guests can relax in their 80sqm luxurious Marvelous Suite, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows boasting views over the Brisbane River and complete with all the little details that make for an exceptional stay – from a fully equipped W MixBar to signature Whatever/Whenever service.
