Max Jackson announced as official Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth ambassador!

Max Jackson
2022 Toyota Star Maker and 2023 Golden Guitar nominee Max Jackson is set to play an exciting new role for the 52nd Toyota Country Music Festival, with organisers announcing her today as an ambassador for the iconic event.

The new partnership will see the former Coonamble local, now Newcastle resident, work directly with the Toyota Country Music Festival team in lead up to and during the 2024 event to actively promote and support the Festival.

Max Jackson is excited to embrace her new role and hopes her work as ambassador will inspire artists and fans to come to Australia’s country music capital in January, to experience the nation’s largest and longest live music event.

“I am so proud to be announced as an ambassador for the Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth,” she said.

“As an Australian country music artist, the Tamworth Country Music Festival is what it’s all about.

“This spectacular 10-day event brings fans, artists and the industry together in a way that no other event does, and I am so excited to share this unique live music experience with everyone.”

The announcement culminates a big year for Max Jackson. Not only did Max sign with ABC Music, she showcased at both CMA Fest in Nashville and at SXSW in Sydney; both prestigious invite only events. Max’s most recent single, Little More Country, is impacting the National Country Airplay Charts. Watch Little More Country video HERE.

The new partnership will run until 2025 and flags a commitment from Festival organisers to support and nurture emerging talent.

Toyota Country Music Festival Manager, Barry Harley says the new ambassadorship will ensure the event keeps up with Australia’s dynamic and ever-evolving country music industry.

“We know over recent years there has been a real shift in our audience, with a new generation of talent making waves in the industry,” he said.

“While the Festival continues to recognise and honour our nation’s country music greats and stars from across all the industry’s many sub genres, we know it’s important to champion and support emerging artists to ensure the longevity of our industry and event.

“We’re excited to welcome Max Jackson as an ambassador, whose talent and sound is a refreshing and contemporary approach to Australian country music.”
