Kiyomizudera, the "Pure Water Temple"

With many stunning features, including the bell tower, Otowa waterfall and Butai, or ‘wooden stage’ to name a few, Kiyomizudera is full of charm and appeal. 

Another feature of the temple, the three-story pagoda is a structure dating back from 1633 and stands at 31 meters high. 

When inspecting the roof, you can see a dragon that is considered to be a god of water and protector of the structure against fire.
