The mind-blowing Lucha VaVOOM is taking over the landmark Mayan Theatre on Wednesday and Thursday, February 8 and 9. Pasión de Fuego features authentic luchadores like Los Crazy Chickens; burlesque performances by Emma Vauxdevil and Ruby Champagne; comedians Andy Richter and Blaine Capatch; and much more.

One of LA's most popular outdoor movie series, Street Food Cinema is screening a trio of "Bloody Valentines" movies at the historic Million Dollar Theatre in Downtown LA: Queen of the Damned (Friday, Feb. 10), Bram Stoker's Dracula (Feb. 11) and Jennifer's Body on Valentine's Day (Feb. 14). The screenings will feature a Q&A with special guest Marguerite Moreau (Feb. 10) and burlesque by Cabaret Versatile (Feb. 11 & 14).
Tickets are on sale at the Street Food Cinema website. Outside food from Grand Central Market is permitted, full bar and concessions will be available at the theatre.

Presented by the American Contemporary Ballet, Astaire Dances has become a Valentine’s tradition for Los Angeles. This year’s show features classics such as "Dancing In The Dark," "All Of You," and "I’m Old Fashioned." The original dances are brought to life with live renditions of the songs that inspired them.
Astaire Dances is paired with a new ballet by ACB Director Lincoln Jones, The Charlestons, featuring the music of Ellington, Morton, Armstrong and Dodds. Hear scorching jazz played by some of LA’s hottest musicians, and danced by its most compelling dancers. The evening also includes the comedy of Brian Kiley.
