Visit County Durham : Memorable Moments

Visit County Durham has launched Memorable Moments, a campaign to highlight Durham as the place to go to make memories. 

Durham is county and city itself is a city in northeast England. 

The city has the River Wear looping around the Romanesque Durham Cathedral and Norman Durham Castle along with the 13th-century, Crook Hall. 

Memorable Moments will focus on the county’s heritage, culture, countryside and coast, along with its great places to eat, drink and stay’. 

The Memorable Moments campaign aims to boost Durham’s visitor economy during the autumn, winter and spring months and is supported by some of the county’s biggest attractions, including Locomotion, The Bowes Museum, The Auckland Project and Beamish, The Living Museum of the North.
