Action Packed Events in Lithgow Australia

Lithgow is home to the three biggest regional events West of Sydney.

Australia's largest Halloween Street Festival occurs in October every year in Lithgow's Main St.

Ironfest is the biggest annual arts festival to take place in the Central West NSW; celebrating the Birth of Steel in Australia in Lithgow. Now into its 21st year, Ironfest attracts people from all around the world. In 2019 (the last time the event was held due to Covid) over 20,000 people attended; contributing over $5 million to the local economy. When: April 22-23 2023

The light show of Lithglow takes centre stage every May. LithGlow 2023 will return to the Blast Furnace Park in May. The Blast Furnace Park will also be transformed into a foodie’s heaven with international food trucks featuring gourmet food and sweet delights. A brilliant light show will illuminate the event, showcasing the spectacular architecture of the Lithgow Blast Furnace and complementing the captivating entertainment.

Daffodils at Rydal welcomes in Spring each September and the Lithgow Show is held every March.

An array of local markets across many weekends adds to the variety of event experiences available.
