Meliá Chiang Mai Stages Monthly Sunday Brunch at Laan Na Kitchen

Meliá Chiang Mai will host a monthly Sunday brunch brimming with Spanish, Mediterranean, and Thai offerings such as imported charcuterie, chilled prawns on ice, Mediterranean salads and a live cooking noodle station.

Dubbed ‘Brunch del Domingo’, the monthly Sunday brunch is held on the first Sunday of the month from 12pm – 3pm at the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Laan Na Kitchen that serves authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a vibrant marketplace setting.

Tortilla Española, chorizo and bacon quiche, imported Manchego and artisan cheeses are among the brunch’s Mediterranean favorites. A butcher’s corner serves a selection of cold cuts including Ibérico ham (jamón), Spanish sausage (chorizo), chicken ham, and smoked fish.

The healthy Mediterranean salad bar affords a selection of Spanish olive oils, mixed olives and pickles. The live cooking noodle station has dishes such as khao soi curry noodle soup with chicken and a large pan of paella with fideuá (a short pasta) and seafood served with aioli.

Delectable desserts include the hotel’s famous churros that, along with fruit and marshmallow skewers, can be dipped in a warm chocolate fountain. Homemade pastries, ice creams and more are also on offer.

The Sunday brunch will be held on 2 October, 6 November and 4 December respectively at THB 1,499 nett per person, THB 750 nett per child aged six to 12 years, and free for children aged five and below. A two-hour free-flow package with house wine, draft beer and soft drinks is THB 1,000 nett per person. Prices are inclusive of 10% service charge and 7% government tax.

The hotel offers a “come four, pay three” promotion, meaning four guests can attend the brunch for the price of three guests, if booked at least one week in advance with a non-refundable deposit.
