The campaign calls on users to discover the beauty of traditional music, celebrate culture and share national pride, thereby contributing to promoting Vietnam tourism.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc, VNAT’s Vice Chairman confirmed that tourism and culture always go hand in hand. In particular, traditional music contributes to the tourism inspiration of many domestic and foreign tourists.
Traditional music is not only an art form to entertain, enrich or enhance the quality of tours, but also a resource, an intangible cultural heritage for tourism development.
To promote tourism through traditional music and culture, VNAT needs the help of the private sector, especially businesses, in developing tourism facilities and application of technological achievements to promote local cultural brands.
Representative of TikTok Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, shared that TikTok's goal is to diversify valuable and good contents for the community on the platform, including traditional music.
He hopes that, through this campaign, TikTok will bring traditional music closer to users. By blending tradition and modernity in the presentation of the campaign's main video, traditional music can continue to be enjoyed and cherished by next generations.
The main video debuted on August 30 using a mix of 3 melodies of Quan Ho, Ca Hue (Hue singing) and Cai Luong singing, performed by musician Ngo Hong Quang.
Besides, from September 5 - October 5, 2022, TikTok will organize a contest "Going everywhere with #NganNgaVietNam" to call for users who love culture and travel across the country to participate in creativity. The content introduces the landscape, culture, cuisine and lifestyle of Vietnam on the background of Ngan Nga Vietnam song music right on the platform.
