Yokoyama Tenboudai Observatory in Japan

Fancy having a tea time on top of a mountain with gorgeous views of the Ago Bay with its sophiscated indented coastline and islands?

Enjoy sweeping views of this magnificent nature from Mirador Shima, a cafe located on the Yokoyama Tenboudai (Yokoyama Lookout Point) at 203m above sea level.

Here, you can taste cakes and coffee as you marvel at the intricate pattern of inlets and floating pearl farm rafts dotting the wate

The Yokoyama Tenboudai is one of 4 observatories on Mt. Yokoyama in Mie prefecture, and it’s an easy 15-minute walk from the Yokoyama Visitor Center.
