10 Ways to Put a Spring in Your Step on the Sunshine Coast These Holidays

Spring is in the air on the Sunshine Coast, and we've compiled the ultimate list of activities to embrace the new beginning that comes with a change of season.

Sit back and breath in the salty air on a sunset cruise, take a moment to feel the sun on your skin on the Great Beach Drive or listen to the sounds of the rainforest with a visit to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve.

With your newfound vigour you'll have energy to burn so we've included the must-do activities for kids; from becoming a Penguin Keeper for the day to tackling a living hedge maze.

We guarantee you'll leave with a spring in your step!

1) Teach your kids about wildlife conservation
Encourage your kids to celebrate all creatures great and small and learn about wildlife conservation by becoming a Junior Penguin Keeper for the day at SEA Life Sunshine Coast, or take them behind-the-scenes with the Wildlife Warriors at Australia Zoo to discover what it's like to be a zoo keeper. For an up close animal encounter, visit Wildlife HQ and Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World, whose aviaries are home to more than 700 native and exotic birds.

2) Embark on an a-MAZE-ing adventure!
Did you know the Sunshine Coast is home to an incredible 80m x 80m living hedge maze made up of more than 1,000 lilly pillies?
