Craft brewers in the USA look to capture the life and distinct culture of the local area in its branding.
Micro-breweries, tap-rooms, brewpubs, and bottle shops across the country serve up brewed ambers, hoppy IPA’s, and porters. Wisconsin Brewing beer has been a Wisconsin tradition since the 1830s with household names such as Pabst Blue Ribbon and Miller High-Life deriving from the state. The Rocky Mountains state of Colorado has a strong brewing tradition since the Coors Brewing set up 147 years ago. It is now home to 400 breweries including Odell Brewing, Oskar Blues, Great Divide Brewing and Boulder Beer Company. New Belgium Brewing, with its Fat Tire Amber Ale, run tours at its Fort Collins location, as does Left Hand Brewing, known for its popular Milk Stout. The annual Colorado Brewers’ Festival takes place in Fort Collins each June and the Colorado Brewers Rendezvous in Salida every July. www.colorado.com
