Sydney Harbour foreshore will light up with the iconic glow of hand-made lanterns when the city hosts the inaugural Chinese Lantern Carnival from 19-22 February 2015
The Chinese Lantern Carnival will offer Sydney-siders a spectacular Chinese New Year experience, boasting a line-up of cultural performances, dazzling lanterns, diverse folk arts, more than 50 stalls selling everything from dumplings to rice balls, handicrafts, open air cinema, workshops and fun activities for the whole family.
WHEN: Between Thursday 19 February andMonday 23 February from 10am – 10pm (except Sunday 22 February – vendors close at 5pm)

HOW TO GET TO THIS EVENT: It’s a five to ten minute walk from Sydney’s CBD, an easy trip by Train, Bus, Metro Light Rail or a great excuse to get on the harbour and enter by water taxi, ferry, harbour cruise or jet boat.
