IFEMA announces the 35th staging of FITUR in 2015

IFEMA has announced the staging of its 35th International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR 2015, to be held from 28th January to 1st February 2015 at FERIA DE MADRID. The trade fair will once again host the attendance of the worldwide tourist industry with the most comprehensive exhibition of ideas and destinations from a long list of companies, bodies and institutions throughout the world.

At its last event in January 2014, FITUR confirmed its role as the largest business forum for the tourist industry, based on the participation of some 9,083 companies from 165 countries. The trade fair welcomed a total of 217,780 participants (5% increase compared to 2013), of whom 120,231 were members of the industry. We might also mention the 7,368 journalists who attended the show from 60 different countries.

This trade fair, which is one of the largest events of its kind in the world and a world leader for the inbound and outbound tourism markets in Latin America, is already working on creating the very best forum for business for the world tourist industry at its next event, one at which professionals will be able to discover all of the key aspects when it comes to successfully tackling the challenge of innovative tourism management.

The International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR, will present the awards corresponding to its year 2014 staging - Best Stand Awards, Best Active Tourism Product Awards and the FITUR Jorge Vila Fradera Forum Award - next 22nd May at FERIA DE MADRID.
