The 2025 NSW Tourism Awards have once again showcased the incredible creativity, dedication, and passion driving New South Wales’ visitor economy. From eco-lodges and world-class tour operators to regional attractions and vibrant events, tourism providers from across the state were recognised for delivering unforgettable experiences to domestic and international visitors.
Celebrating Outstanding Achievements
The gala celebration took place at Waterview in Bicentennial Park, Sydney, where 78 winners were announced from 125 finalists across 30 categories. Gold, silver, and bronze awards recognised excellence in business practices, sustainability, and visitor experiences. With a strong sense of community shining through, winners represented tourism excellence across city destinations, coastal towns, country regions, and remote areas of NSW.A Legacy of Tourism Excellence
Spanning more than 30 years, the NSW Tourism Awards are the state’s longest-running tourism honours and the official pathway to the Australian Tourism Awards. Celebrated for credibility, professionalism, and rigorous judging, the awards provide operators with constructive feedback and opportunities for ongoing growth. A panel of 55 independent judges evaluated entries using a detailed marking system, ensuring that winners represent the very best of NSW tourism.Voices from the Industry
NSW Tourism Association CEO Natalie Godward highlighted the dedication behind every entry. She noted that these awards celebrate the people who pour their heart into creating memorable experiences for visitors. “Across the state, individuals, families and businesses are pouring their heart and soul into creating unforgettable experiences for visitors, and that’s what is shining through in these awards,” said Godward.Minister for Jobs and Tourism, the Hon Steve Kamper MP, congratulated winners for their contribution to NSW’s $91 billion visitor economy, highlighting the state’s stunning natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and world-class events. Destination NSW CEO Karen Jones praised operators for bringing the state’s tourism vision to life, creating experiences that inspire visitors to stay longer, explore further, and return again.
