350 Concerts at Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg

First staged in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has become a major music festival.

Over the four days some 350 live concerts take place in and around Hamburg's St. Pauli neighborhood.

The summer and the festival season that comes with it are in full swing – but today we've got 44 new reasons to get your mind fast-forwarding to the autumn. Here is the latest wave of acts just confirmed for this year's Reeperbahn Festival, taking place from 20 to 23 September.

Singer-songwriter AVEC (AUT, photo) creates amazing artistic depth that seems to cut out for the times we're living in. With her delicate tone, she combines sparkling, melancholic melodies with heavy motifs ranging from life and death to toxic relationships and yearnings, all delivered in a stripped down form – as her latest album "Homesick" masterfully demonstrates.

Temples (GBR) dish up an irresistible collage of psychedelia, krautrock and dream pop, which has them down as one of the most imaginative rock bands right now. Reeperbahn Festival will see the quartet present their latest Album "Exotico", showcasing the band at another peak of their creativity.

Maddie Zahm (USA) takes topics that scare her and turns them into great songs with the potential to speak to virtually every one of us. As her hit single "Fat Funny Friend" and debut EP "You Might Not Like Her" show, she lays her inner soul bare and turns her vulnerability into a mighty strength.
