With the participation of artist Xuan Bac as the host, the lychee harvesting contest was created for the participating teams and excited for the tourists. In addition, the lychee harvest season is also livestreamed by social networking sites on many fanpages, attracting the attention of thousands of people at home and abroad.
For the first time, in Giap Son commune, a fashion show event in the lychee garden was organized by Phuc Lam Trading and Service Co., Ltd (Hanoi) and Giap Son Agricultural and Ecotourism Cooperative. From the stage, the catwalk, the space to the materials, the colors of the costumes are all inspired by lychee and the culture and people of Luc Ngan. The program attracts a large number of models, singers, domestic and foreign tourists to participate. Then, Luc Ngan was very successful with the event that 70 content creators on the social networking platform TikTok conducted a livestream program to promote and sell lychee, attracting millions of followers. Previously, in April 2023, the Vietnam Book of Records Center announced 9 Vietnamese dishes that had set an Asian record according to the set of Asian culinary value criteria, including Luc Ngan lychee.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Uyen - member of Thanh Hai Experiential Tourism Cooperative said: In order to attract tourists, the cooperative has invested in new models and miniatures, making products from lychee such as lychee bread, lychee sticky rice, litchi tea to introduce to visitors, and at the same time introduce the unique culture of ethnic minorities. Strengthen promotion on the media, social networks, coordinate with tour operators inside and outside the province to bring visitors back to visit. Reception work, serving guests of many community tourism cooperatives is becoming more and more professional.
When litchi is ripe, all services in Luc Ngan become "hot". The amount of food consumed during the lychee harvest spiked. Many services associated with the prosperous litchi season such as: catering, selling lychee chilled ice, Styrofoam boxes for lychee boxes, etc., are very exciting.
