Tourism Australia has this week released its post-event survey feedback which shows the event wowed everyone who attended.
Buyers came from the Americas, Europe, Greater China, Japan, Korea, South and South East Asia, New Zealand and Australia and 98 per cent of them rated their return on investment as good, very good or excellent, with 100 per cent of them feeling more capable of selling Australia as a result of attending ATE.

Similarly, 94 per cent of sellers (ie. tourism products) also rated their return on investment as good, very good or excellent. Both buyers and sellers rated their satisfaction with the event at 100 per cent – the first time an ATE has achieved top marks all round in its 42-year history. It was also delivered as a carbon neutral event.
The event - delivered in 2023 by Tourism Australia in partnership with TEQ and with support from Destination Gold Coast - is the industry’s key annual opportunity to connect with international trade partners and set up their products for sale through the international distribution system. Queensland had the largest contingent of products on display at the event as usual.
ATE24 will be held in Melbourne from 19 to 23 May 2024.
