Sabah Tea Resort Malaysia

Nestled in the lush tropical wilderness of Malaysia’s first-ever World Heritage Site – Mount Kinabalu, sitting on a 6,000-acre land at an elevation of 2,272 feet above sea level, surrounded by one of the world’s oldest and most diverse rainforest.

Sabah Tea Resort is the largest single commercial tea plantation in Borneo with an approximated acreage 1,000 endowed with an interesting plant and agriculture resources, the Carmellia Sinensis. The remaining acres is still a rainforest of 130 million years old, therefore having a strong influence of the natural environment is our tea plantation.

Sabah Tea Resort is one of the very few tea plantations in the world that is certified to produce organic tea. Apart from that, the management holds strongly with the ideology of providing the community a peace of mind when enjoying a cup of tea. To realize that, the produced in this garden is assured 100% free from usage of pesticides and artificial colourings. Tea leaves are meticulously selected and controlled to produce a distinct taste with full-body aroma.
